Bezpečná hnízdiště pro raroha velkého v zemědělské krajině ČR
Safe breeding sites for Saker Falcon in the farmland of the Czech Republic
Projekt podpořen z programu „Životní prostředí, ekosystémy a změna klimatu“ financovaného z Norských fondů 2014–2021.
Projekt zahájil fyzickou realizaci dne 9. 4. 2021 a dle aktuálního harmonogramu bude trvat do 31. 3. 2024.
Vedoucím projektu je Mgr. Václav Beran.
Partnery projektu jsou: Jihomoravská pobočka České společnosti ornitologické a Ochrana dravcov na Slovensku.
Projekt je zaměřen na zajištění bezpečných hnízdišť pro raroha velkého (Falco cherrug) v zemědělské krajině jižní a střední Moravy a dolního Poohří a sledování efektivity tohoto opatření pomocí fotopastí. Raroh velký, který byl v roce 2012 zařazen IUCN mezi celosvětově ohrožené druhy ptáků, se v ČR stále nedočkal systematické podpory. Záchranný program raroha velkého v ČR (dále ZP), který byl připraven z prostředků norských fondů v roce 2017, nebyl stále schválen Ministerstvem životního prostředí a nutná opatření pro ochranu druhu se nerealizují. Počet hnízdících párů od roku 2015 znatelně klesl na dva až pět hnízdících párů. Projekt má za cíl realizovat vybrané opatření, které může stabilizovat naši populaci – vytvořit bezpečná hnízdiště v areálu rozšíření tohoto druhu v ČR. Jeho realizací dojde k naplňování globálního akčního plánu pro raroha (Saker GAP), ZP a dalších strategických dokumentů.
Realizací projektu chceme zajistit bezpečná hnízdiště na sloupech VVN v areálu rozšíření raroha v ČR a tím stabilizovat naši populaci. Pomocí následného sledování instalovaných podložek fotopastmi chceme vyhodnotit efektivitu realizovaného opatření a posoudit případné další rozšíření počtu hnízdních podložek v následujících letech. Pomocí pravidelného čištění podložek zajistit dobrou produktivitu mláďat. Navázáním spolupráce s ČEPS zajistit bezpečný průběh hnízdění rarohů na sloupech VVN.
The project is supported by the Programme „Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change“ funded by the Norway Grants 2014-2021.
The project started its implementation on 9th April 2021 and will run until 31st March 2024 according to the current schedule.
The project leader is Mgr. Vaclav Beran.
The project partners are: South Moravian branch of the Czech Ornithological Society and Predator protection in Slovakia.
The project is focused on ensuring safe nesting grounds for the Saker (Falco cherrug) in the agricultural landscape of southern and central Moravia and lower Poohří and monitoring the effectiveness of this measure using photo traps. The Saker, which was listed by the IUCN among globally endangered species in 2012, has still not received systematic support in the CZ. The Saker falcon Action plan in the CZ (AP), which was prepared from Norwegian grants in 2017, has still not been approved by the Ministry of the Environment (MZP) and the necessary measures for the protection of the species are not being implemented. Since 2015, the number of nesting pairs has dropped significantly to 2 to 5 nesting pairs. The project aims to implement selected measures that can stabilize our population – to create a safe nesting platforms in the areas of the distribution of Saker in the CZ. Its implementation will fulfill the Global action plan for Saker (Saker GAP), AP and other strategic documents.
By implementing the project, we want to ensure a safe nesting place on HVP in the area of saker distribution of in CZ and stabilize our population. With the help of photo traps, we want to evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented measure and assess a possible expansion of the number of platforms in the coming years. Ensure good breeding productivity by regular cleaning of the platforms. By establishing cooperation with ČEPS, ensure the safe course of nesting of sakers on HVP.
